Happy Halloween!
Not much to say about Halloween yet. No plans on dressing up, I don’t have anything and for someone who likes to think she’s pretty creative – I haven’t come up with a darned idea yet.
No big. I really don’t have anywhere to go. No parties and such. The whole Castro-idea, while I would love to go and take photos of the outrageous costumes and possibly attempt to take higher quality photos… eh. I don’t think I want to go. It’s not appealing enough.
A few weeks ago I had considered putting together a Halloween shindig, but when it comes to Halloween people usually have plans or choose at last minute to go to the Castro. So why bother? Plus, it’s not like I have a lot of money to throw around for decorations (and you need mass quantities of decorations for a Halloween party.)
So moving on..
From a thread on the msg board at dpchallenge:
What Famous Person Do You Share Your Birthday With?
Well, my bday is March 24th, here’s my list (ones I am familiar with at least):

Norman Fell (1924)
Alyson Hannigan (1974) (mini-Woo! for that one, tee hee)
Harry Houdini (1874)
Star Jones (1962)
Steve McQueen (1930)
Donna Pescow (1954)
So what about you?

I think I’m becoming Milton.

(For those unaware, Milton is a character in the 1999 movie Office Space. It’s a hilarious movie that pokes fun at the idiosyncrasies of working in an office. You know you’ve always wanted to take the printer, fax machine, photocopier.. any major office equipment, really.. out into a field and bash it with a bat, right? Rent.. no, just go and buy this movie right now if you haven’t seen it.)
Anyway…
We have stapler issues at my work. It’s all silly really. I think I’ve filled about 4 staplers, and they all seem to disappear from my desk. All I’m asking for is a stapler to at least stay in the office I work in.
Yes. I’m aware that it is just a stapler, but you just don’t understand. It’s annoying to have to go searching for one. I think my co-workers would agree because at one point every day they are looking for one along with me.
So yeah, I’ve noticed I’m becoming more protective of my stapler, which isn’t a red Swingline if you’re curious. It’s actually a Boston plain stapler.

End of the World
Funny animation bit about countries blowing each other up. I think it’s made by the same guy/s that made the Mario Twins animation.
