Wha? My four-day holiday is over? Boo! BOO!

I L O V E D my break. Why?

:: Sleeping in. Whether it was until 9am or Noon – it was a much needed recharge. I’ve been going into work for 17 days straight. (FYI, so you don’t flip out, not all of my weekends were full 8 hour days.)

:: Seeing my family!! I haven’t seen most (if not all) of them in several months – what with trips, birthdays, projects, and work getting in the way.

:: Fiesta table decor! My uncle Mike asked a friend to borrow some table linen for our Thanksgiving feast and she wickedly pulled one over on him. Ah but we showed her! We like our festive linen!

:: Little cousins with crayons

:: Tall cousins with creepy, realistic guns. This is some sort of air-pellet(??) gun that all the guys were going ga-ga over.

:: Simple means of entertainment. Uncle Mike had a box of goodies and inside contained a very large ziplock bag of little fuzzballs. Oddly enough, they were a huge hit. We began to stick them in everyone’s hair – it’s the newest trend seen in Paris and Italy, dontcha know?

:: Uncle Mike in his “cowboy pajamas” shirt. As you can see in this classic “I’m taking a picture of you taking a picture of me” shot, our model is showing us how fuzzballs in your hair can be an awesome accessory to cowboy pajama style shirts.

OMG it’s late. I have work tomorrow so I suppose it’s time to sleep.

Today, my mom and I baked a fun little dessert. We’ll be bringing it to my cousin’s Thanksgiving shindig tomorrow afternoon. Here it is, for your enjoyment.
