I get to go home tomorrow!! I’m super excited, I haven’t been home (for a long period of time) — for awhile now. That sounded kind of redundant, but who cares? Apparently I have quite a few activities going on before Christmas.. I’ll be celebrating my dad’s 50th birthday (HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD!! – aren’t you glad i posted your age and everything??) on Friday, then going to visit some family friends for dinner on Saturday.. then most likely visiting my grandparents at somepoint that weekend… and then.. well I guess after that its Christmas festivities. Wee!
OH ok i have a story. A couple of days ago Adam and I were out and about. Well, I went off to go to the restroom, and I walk into the ladies room and nobody was there. 2 stalls – no waiting – woo! So i’m walking into one of the stalls and as I’m shutting the door I see a lady of “mother” type age walk into the room. Then I hear what seems to be her daughter. So I’m thinking that when I leave the stall, I will see at least 1 person waiting. Uh. I do my thing.. and i ya know, I hear one of ‘em ya know, do their thing.. and the flush.. ok fine.. then.. more thing.. and another flush. Okaaay. I’m done and out of the stall and washing my hands.. uh.. there is NOBODY IN THE BATHROOM WAITING. So that means.. they’re in the stall.. together. For a moment I’m thinking ok fine.. she’s got like a 5 year old or something right.. uh.
The mother and daughter walk out of the stall and the girl is like 13 or 14 years old.
Um hello? Gross much?
So a series of reasoning has crossed my mind — perhaps one of ‘em needs special assistance for some medical type reason — that theory is fine and all, but.. they seems pretty mobile and non-assistant needing to me. So really.. they just shared a stall. Why though? One had to wait for the other? Why couldn’t they have waited in the bathroom area instead?
Why does this bother me so? It’s like those mother’s who keep their kids in diapers way over the age of diaper-ness. It’s just not right.
So yah. I think this might take the cake for the weirdest entry yet. Any feelings on this subject?
