Attempted scrapbooking today. Didn’t get as far as I had planned. The day included a last minute adventure to the Saratoga AMF Bowling Alley with Al, Shannon, and Robert. I can’t remember the last time I bowled. I think I tried at thisonegirl’s birthday, but if I did, it was just a few times. Anyway, it’s been awhile. In the first game we played, I won! My score was 111. I lost the next two games. Ah well. My wrist was hurting, my thumb was sore, and my arm had found new muscles. But it was a lot of fun!
Played a bit of Chaos Bleeds, the Buffy the Vampire Slayer video game. It’s fuuuuuuun. You get to be Buffy, Willow, Xander, and Spike (possibly more, but I didn’t play for very long). The graphics are great, and the voices.. are the real actors! (Random actresses are the voices for Willow and Buffy, however.)
Besides the fun and games this weekend.. my mind tends to drift onto a more serious subject.
I just can’t believe it’s almost been a year.
I will be blogging more on this later. For now, I need to sleep.

What if TV shows traded actors like sports teams trade athletes?
Jeremy Dauber has some theories.
My favorite is #9.

1. …song?
Angel by Matt Nathanson
“angel you sing about beautiful things / and all I want to do is believe”
2. …food?
Tuna. You don’t see too much tuna these days (unless you’re Jessica Simpson, but that’s old news.) I’m on a tuna-kick lately. Some tuna, on a wheat tortilla, little bit of lettuce. Mmmm wraps!
3. …tv show?
Oo toughy. I’m such a tv junkie that this question is like asking a mother which of her children is her favorite. Ok maybe not that extreme, but it is a toughy. I enjoy too much tv. I’d have to go with Angel and Friends. They’re tied. I just hope Angel gets renewed for another season.
4. …scent?
I love the smell of chocolate.
5. …quote?
“My bra is in my ass!” That’s from Ellen Degeneres’ new book, The Funny Thing Is… Go buy it now. Or borrow mine.

One of the first things I was shown at work was the wonder that is our coffee machine.
It’s not your standard icky-filter-messy-stained coffee maker — oh no. It’s the ultimate coffee making machine.
It’s a Keurig.
(Isn’t it exciting to see in a real-life environment? Please note the sarcasm… Please.)
Yeah I hadn’t heard of it either.
The machine is very simple to use. First you place your favorite novelty mug on the coffee mug stand. Then you take a k-cup (individual plastic cup filled with granule goodness), open the drawer of the Keurig, place the cup inside and close the drawer. Push the blinking button.
In less than a minute you have your hot cup o’ joe! Mmmmm.
Cleanup? Nonewhatsoever. The little k-cup gets dumped into a little trash bin inside the machine.
Mmm coffee.

Shanta sent me this link: State of the Union Drinking Game 2004
It’s for tonight’s SotU address, so you better make your BevMo run now!
I don’t think I will be playing along, but it’s mighty silly. Let me know if you played!

1. What does it say in the signature line of your emails?
Yahoo email it has my website url, work email has my name, title, company, main number and direct line.
2. Did you have a senior quote in your high school yearbook? What was it?
“Knowledge is like underwear. Everyone has it, but only some show it.” Or something like that. It’s been awhile.
3. If you had vanity plates on your car, what would they read?
I’d totally like to have Kevin Fox’s plate (GRRARG) — So maybe I’d get Jenguin? I dunno. Need a car first! (Bah! Jenguin is taken!)
4. Have you received any gifts with messages engraved upon them? What did the inscription say?
For graduation I got a leather notebook case with my name on it.
5. What would you like your epitaph to be?
Poot.
