Was that Jack Wagner?

Published by Jennifer under gh, television

Warning: This post contains nothing but yappity yap about the ABC soap opera General Hospital and how much it rocked today. You’ve been warned.

Today was a big day for us GH-ers. For the last 16 days there’s been this major hostage standoff hoo-ha going on. It was being filmed ala “24″ – each day was exactly 1 hour of action. (Instead of maybe one gh-day spanning two real days for example.)

So anyway, the clip below is the last five or so minutes of today’s episode.
(Love youtube.com, love that someone put this clip up mere hours after the show aired.)

Now after watching today’s episode my mom called me all excited (she’s the one who got me into the show afterall.) She said she thinks she saw something special. She got me all excited (and I was at work, far away from my TiVoed episode) that something cool was supposed to happen. We both read spoilers and she said this wasn’t in anything she’s read… but she won’t tell me what it was until I watched.

Yadda yadda.. home.. watched episode.. confused because everything that happened seemed logical. I didn’t see anything too special.

She told me to find the shot of the lone cop(swat guy) that fills the screen for a few seconds. So I did. (1:43 in the clip above.) She had me guess but I had no idea who she thought it was – then she told me. Frisco. (Frisco of “Frisco and Felicia” one of General Hospital’s supercouples ~ ala “Luke & Laura”, “Anna and Robert”, “Jax/Sonny/Brenda”…)

Frisco = Jack Wagner, btw. Jack Wagner is this fella.

and here he is with a hat on:

So what do you guys think? Even those of you out there that don’t watch the show – does it look like it could be him?

If it is.. this is a damn big deal… however.. if it is, then I’m pretty sure he’s doomed for a shitty comeback seeing as how they have dealt with Anna and Robert’s returns thus far. Like hello GH writers – Robin has been shot, where the hell are her parents? Pfft.

Anyway..
It makes sense if it is him – as my mother pointed out – they don’t show just anyone during such a big moment.

Hmm.. more research: Jack Wagner’s remastered single of “All I Need” comes out March 13th, plus he’s got another album (the first in a decade) coming out as well. Yes he’s on B&B (bleh) but I doubt that matters.

Estate Sale Mascot

Last weekend my family and I had an estate sale for my grandparent’s belongings.

While at first it seemed really awkward to be selling these items to strangers it really didn’t bother me much. The majority of heirlooms and items that meant something to us were already taken or given to the family member that wanted them. However the rest of the stuff was just stuff.

Three items were hard to let go that day. Grandma’s recliner, Grandpa’s jackets, and Grandpa’s hats. As silly as it may seem to some, I gave the jackets a hug before putting them down on a table outside.

Anyway – the photo? The photo is of our in-house talent, my Uncle Mike. He’s a pro at selling stuff so he totally made the two-day estate sale woosh by.

So the Yeti made another appearance, entertaining some lookie-loos but most of all me and my mother.

Here’a another one of the Yeti and his walker, checking out some of the fine collectible dishes (handed down via my great-grandmother).
