We learned a lot at the Tech Museum today…
The Tech Museum here in San Jose is free every second-Sunday (well, except in August and the last one looks like it’ll be September 9th.) For a few months now I’ve brought this up to Adam as something we could go kill a few hours at, get out of the house, and not pay a dime. Finally we did it, and this is the tale of our journey.

Took a pic of us on Predator-Cam; you can see me taking the photo and see that Adam gives it his thumbs-up approval. Then the Predators attacked.

I took a sonogram! Is it a boy? Is it a girl? No, just my fingertips. ha ha.

Then I shot Adam in the neck. See the bullet? They let you do anything at the Tech in the name of science!

For being shot in the neck, Adam wanted a snack, so I gave him some screws to chew on. They got stuck on the way out. ::giggle::

Later Adam and I participated in a virtual arm-wrestling where he didn’t miss a beat and immediately cheated by starting the match while I was taking a photo.

Always my photo-guinea pig, Adam joined the Sharks as the new goalie. He’ll do great, he loves the cold.
One of the exhibits at the Tech is all about the internet. That’s clearly something I need to learn about! Apparently there is this stuff called Electronic Mail. I tell you, it’s the wave of the future.

When you get Electronic Mail you might get what is called SPAM. Thankfully, the best way to get rid of it is to whack it with a mallet. I wonder if mallets come wireless. Hmm.

Here’s a display of common acronyms those crazy internet folks use. They forgot WTF. I will have to send the Tech one of those Electronic Mails and inform them of this oversight.

One of the interactive displays had this little screen doodad you move over a diorama of San Jose. It would then show you wireless spots and let you know a factoid or two about wifi. In this shot you can see that Adam has the doodad over SJSU. While there is a wifi dot and wave present, it NEVER popped up any information. Typical SJSU – seemed the “network was down”. I imagine all the little college students shuffling out of their dorm rooms and wandering the halls to interact with each other. Ah memories.
And finally, Adam went to outer space…
